We thought you would enjoy reading just some of the guest comments Wildwood Inn receives.
We loved the place. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Place is very nice and clean. Thank you.
Dear Staff, My husband and I would like to thank you for all of your kindness and dilligent efforts in finding a way for us to get out of Estes Park on Friday September 13th. Thanks to you we were able to get home and my husband was able to get back to work(not that he wanted to, ha ha). I miss the Inn already. We will always be grateful to you and look forward to seeing you again. I pray that God blesses you and your family and keeps you safe.
We had a lovely time, the only problem was the duration of our stay – WAY TOO SHORT! But now that we have gone on a tour of a few areas in Colorado we KNOW we will be back to Estes Park. We look forward to coming back to the Wildwood Inn in the future. Thank you for being so kind and answering all of our questions! You were spot on with dining recommendations!!!
Thank you again!
Jackie & Lori
Wanted to rate a 5 but the buttons were too small on my tablet and it hit the 4. The room was excellent! It was by the river and was beautiful to sit and relax and watch the water. You could also hear the elk bugling off in the distance and got to see a bull elk just outside of our front door. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen and grill made it so nice to not have to spend the money to eat out all the time. I would highly recommend you to my friends. Thank you for the wonderful weekend get away.
Great room – everything that was advertised was true. Only problem was that there was ice on the pavement to the room – I slipped but was ok. The office immediately put ice melt/sand on the area.
Wildwood Inn must be doing something right–my wife and I have been returning to stay with them every Fall for at least the last 12 years. We’ve stayed in a couple different suites, the Aspen suites next to the office, and 3 of the Cascade suites across the road, down by the river in the Fawn Valley Estates area. The accommodations may not be the ritziest you’ll find around Estes Park, but they are certainly among the most comfortable we’ve stayed at. The kitchens are good, the beds are very comfortable, and the locations we’ve stayed in are always quiet.
Sitting out on the balcony over the river, having coffee and a scone, is one of the many pleasures of staying at Wildwood Inn.
I just wanted to thank you for the care you gave my son and daughter-in-law. They celebrated their 1st anniversary this weekend at the Wildwood Inn and had a wonderful time. They live in Estes Park and wanted to stay locally to support the local businesses. They chose your Inn because of the great value but also the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. They couldn’t have been more pleased. I am also sure they wouldn’t have had the same experience anywhere else. I just wanted to let you know I appreciated all the things you did to make their stay special and personal. You really treated them as family and I know they loved their stay.
Thank you so much for the amazing stay! We had a great time. Hope to see you next year and many more years to come.

Love, love, love Wildwood Inn! It’s the only place I stay when visiting Estes Park. I’ve stayed there numerous times and have never once had a negative experience. The staff are gracious, kind and welcoming. The rooms are warm, cozy and beautiful. I adore sitting on my own private deck, having coffee and watching the sun rise–along with the frequent sighting of the plentiful wildlife. Stay at Wildwood. You won’t regret it!
We always love staying here. Our only problem with this last stay was that the hot tub was overly chlorinated. We could not stay in the water long, and we had some coughing and airway irritability and some itchy skin afterwards. Everything else was very good. Normally I give it at least a 4.7/5, this time I would have to say 4/5.
I’m just writing this email to let y’all know it’s been a year since we stayed at Wildwood Inn and we still miss every part of our stay with you guys. In fact, We’ve gotten a little homesick for EP and it’s not even our home. We are currently thinking of returning next year and hope to have as good of a time as we had last.
Hope to see y’all next year and my little girl hopes Lefty is still doing fine
We have stayed a numerous inns, Motels & Hotels but this was a perfect getaway for our family. We felt like it was our home away from home and your welcome note sealed the deal. We for sure will be back in the near future and look forward to reserving a bigger room plus extending our time. Thank you so much!
We enjoyed our stay! It was quiet and peaceful; perfect in every way. When we arrived; the lights were turned on in our room; and it felt like home as soon as we opened the door. The rock fireplace was a warm addition to the living room; and we enjoyed it every night. Extra pillows and blankets were tucked into the closet; the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had all of the amenities to cook a wonderful meal; including a gas grill. The staff was warm and welcoming. It was hard to say good bye to this lovely place. Until next time…..we will return!
As before, we enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer. We both felt the hot tub setting at 104 was too high and would have been better or more enjoyable at 100.
We really enjoyed this Inn, it had beautiful views and a warm welcome. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again. We liked the spruce room, although small, we had everything we needed and loved the terrace, and the price was right!
We had a wonderful time! The location was perfect for our event at the Della Terra.
Wonderful place to stay! Very clean, spacious and friendly staff.
Thank you so much for letting us stay the night. We definitely enjoyed our time here and we hope to vacation here in the future. Thanks for supporting the Estes Park High School Theatre program by your donation and we hope you enjoy the show!
We enjoyed our time at the Wildwood Inn very much. We stayed in the Cascade Suite right on the river. The unit was spotless and had everything we needed to cook our meals. We enjoyed a cozy evening in front of the fire and slept very well in the comfy bed We would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
Only suggestion I would have is to have a nice chair along with the sleeper couch. We had a great time and it was really nice seeing the neighbors in the morning, we had 7 large bull elk right out our window to look at!
We are always very happy with our stay at Wildwood.
Beth and I could not have been happier with the way our wedding day turned out. Every aspect of the elopement package was terrific and exactly how we want to spend the weekend of our wedding. Both Beth and I would suggest the Wildwood Inn to anyone.
We enjoyed our short stay at Wildwood Inn. To bad for us it could only be for one night. The room was very clean, updated and comfortable.
Loved it. Peaceful and relaxing. Will be back with the whole family soon.
Service and rooms are always excellent!
My husband and I went up for a quick winter weekend getaway. We stayed in the Aspen Suites and had a great time. Great location right next to the RMNP entrance and very close to downtown Estes Park. This suite was a bit outdated (old school TV and boom box) but very comfortable, clean, warm and homey. Firewood was provided each day (this suite has a wood burning stove while others have gas) which made for nice cozy evenings. Bed was big and comfortable. Evenings were quiet – though not many people were there that cold, windy weekend. The hot tub room is great! It’s like a greenhouse with big windows, plants, an iPod connector/radio with good wall mounted speakers, and a gas fire place. Privacy is secure because it is elevated and has a deck. Being able to reserve this for private use was a big plus.
This place is so wonderful that I am afraid to tell too many people about it for fear of it being overrun. It is my slice of heaven.
The Cabins and rooms at the Wildwood Are always very clean and lovely. Staff is courteous and professional and always make you feel at home. Been coming here for 4 years, even spent our wedding night here and it the only place we will go!
I absolutely loved my stay in the Black Bear room. The steam shower was perfect after a morning of snowshoeing. The office staff were kind and welcoming. I will stay at the Wildwood Inn again…no doubt.
We stayed in the Cascade room for one night. Nice clean lodging on river. Cute little patio with sitting area and grill nearby. Perfect size kitchen area and loved the fireplace. We can’t wait to stay again in the spring to enjoy the patio and sounds of the river.
Spotlessly clean, Nicely furnished, amazing view and great service.
We will absolutely be back!
Loved the room – cozy yet spacious. Steam shower was great! Warm hospitality and staff. THanks!
This was our fifth visit to Wildwood Inn, and once again your staff was awesome, and the room was excellent. We had a great trip. For the first time we used your spa service. This made our stay even better. Thank you for another great trip.
We are from Nebraska,
there are no mountains like these
Everything is so pretty
Especially all the trees
Wish we could stay
but our vacation is done
so we’ll be on our way
it sure has been fun!
Thank you for the absolutely wonderful room, will definitely recommend.
We will definitely recommend Wildwood Inn to our friends! We had a great weekend and the accommodations were top notch! We look forward to our next stay with you!
Thank you all for your hospitality! We love it here and will return!
This visit in February 2014 was our first trip back to Estes since last Fall’s floods, and we were amazed by the excellent road up the canyon and back–the hard work it took is evident, and the result is smooth going for drivers. With heartfelt respect to the people who have lost homes and businesses, we want to convey to those who are lucky enough to do some leisure travel that Estes shops and restaurants are open, Rocky Mountain National Park is as beautiful as ever, and the Wildwood Inn is the comfortable friendly place you remember so fondly. We’ll be back, and we encourage others to c’mon up the hill!
We really enjoyed our visit. The lodge was very comfortable and had everything we needed and more. We liked the location and the wildlife. Very clean too.
Thank you so much!
We stayed for 1 night in a Spruce Room (No. 44). I really like the location of the Wildwood; being on a south-facing slope instead of down in the trees along the creek lets us soak up some sun when the weather allows. And our room took full advantage with three large south-facing windows.
The check-in clerk was congenial and helpful.
We hadn’t realized when we booked that access to the meant we could book private time. We thought it would be shared with other guests. Had we known in advance, we would have arranged our schedule to take advantage of it. We did not check the room out but from the outside, we could see that it had huge south-facing windows that afforded a view of the hillside across the way, if not to the high peaks west of the park.
Our efficiency was totally fine for our needs and it was clean. The shower was separate from the toilet and sink area which allowed more room for both which is not typical in an efficiency. It would have been nice, though, to have a heat source in the shower room. The layout could have been better for DVD-watching. The only way to view the TV is from the bed but the screen is high on the wall and off to the side. In my mind, it would make more sense to have a queen bed, rather than a king, to gain some space, then put the little table and chairs on the north wall and move the dresser and frig to the east wall. Then drop the TV screen lower over the relocated dresser. And have a larger screen too. It’s pretty small for the viewing distance.
The one big complaint I have is the bed. The bathroom side of the mattress was terrible. It was collapsed enough that I felt like my feet were higher than my head. The only way I could get comfortable was to sleep on the very, very edge of the bed. (My partner was taking up the other side which was firmer.)
Overall, we can certainly recommend this place, mostly due to the location.
Our stay at Wildwood Inn was fantastic. Peace, quiet, friendly service, awesome scenery and wildlife, excellent accomodations, ans the need to do it again very soon. This has become the favorite stay for birthday and anniversary get aways. We look forward to the next visit which I hope will be sooner than later. With all the local choices for shopping and dining at hand Estes is our #1 pick to visit just for a day or better yet for a weekend. Wildwood Inn is the place to relax after a day of shopping, hiking, sightseeing, or just sitting on a bench down town or on the patio and watching the world go on by.
thank you for a wonderful stay!! your friendly staff recommended terrific places to eat and the suite was incredible!!! we will be returning for sure.
