We thought you would enjoy reading just some of the guest comments Wildwood Inn receives.
I was happy to see your survey on my Email when I returned to work on Monday! I already planned on writing to Thank YOU for such an Amazing visit to Estes Park.
We have been coming to Estes Park for over 17 years with our family (starting with our Honeymoon in June 1997!) It is our favorite place to visit! But I have GOT to tell you! We have been on numerous Cruises, trips to Hawaii, Virgin Islands, South America, etc …. but my Husband & I BOTH agree that this was the BEST Vacation we have ever taken! And we both agreed it was because of Wildwood Inn!
We walked in to the lights dimmed, fireplace on & a bottle of champagne on ice! BINGO~! I can not tell you ENOUGH of how highly we thought of the Inn! We even participated in the Marriage ceremony (after already being married 17 years). It too was done professionally & nothing could have been better!
We will DEFINITELY be back, just deciding if it will be next April or this Fall! Thanks Again!
Our stay was wonderful as always. This was our third time staying with you, and your staff and their caring atmosphere is always the reason we return . We will be back, thank you!
Perfect little getaway! Clean well built little cabin like rooms with great beds. The hot tub was phenomenal with the perfect view of the mountains. Would definitely stay here again.
Hi, Cindy & John! Open-mouthed smile emoticon I have already filled out the surveys with Flying Compliments, but I just wanted to make sure & personally Thank You & John for making our Vacation sooooooo Amazing! The Suite was absolutely beautiful the location was to die for & the view can not EVEN be described to such Beauty! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! We will be back…….were talking about next April, but not sure if can wait that long! May be back in October! Fingers crossed emoticon Your staff, accomodations, rooms, view, wedding ceremony, EVERYTHING was absolutely unbeatable! We have vacationed at such places as Hawaii, Virgin Islands, South America, many cruises and many other wonderful places, but my Husband & I BOTH agree ~ that this Vacation was by FAR the BEST!!! & we have your Inn to thank! See you soon! Winking smile emoticon
Rooms were very clean and well stocked, the property is very well kept and Beautiful!!!! Absolutely loved staying at The Wildwood Inn!
I have stayed at Wildwood Inn several times and have never yet been disappointed. Your friendliness, concern and excellent facilities keep bringing me back!
Enjoyed staying with you, the rooms were excellent. The only thing I missed was no cheese grater in the Kitchen.
Very nice place. Liked the rooms and the space we had. It was nice to have the room with a fridge, microwave, dishes, dish soap and nice sitting table/chairs provided. Very nice to be close to the park entrance and quiet area. Rates really reasonable.
I had not been to Estes Park in almost 30 years and had not idea where to stay. I carefully reviewed all the information I could on line and after much debate decided that the Wildwood Inn, because of location, amenities we like to have, and economy was what we needed. The Wildwood Inn was far and above our expectations. It was beautiful, peaceful, well appointed with lots of wonderful space, and very economical. Also, we loved the location, out of town and close to the park. The owners were friendly and wonderful. We highly recommend it and will probably return some day.
I was very happy with the location and the room. However, some people were put above us and it was extremely noisy. There is no sound control at all. At 3:00am I was work up by them and it sounded like they were doing jumping jacks. Not at all please with the room then. I could hardly wait to leave and get away from it.
The people were very nice including the check in and check out. They did leave us leave in early which helped us as we could rest a bit before going out.
Place was very clean and if there was someway to control the people over you it would definitely get a 5.
Thank you for the room. If ever I came back I would definitely ask for the upper room.
My family of 9 just came back from 4 wonderful days in Estes Park, CO so we could be as close to Rocky Mountain National Park as possible.
Wildwood Inn’s Pineridge Vacation Home had so much to do with our memorable experience. The unit was spacious. The general set up was such that the dining room, kitchen and breakfast areas were one open space, allowing a lot of activities without feeling crowded and yet promoting closeness with family members. All while enjoying the view from windows all around. And if it’s not enough, there was a veranda that opens from the dining area and bedroom that offers uninterrupted view of the mountains while enjoying fresh air. There were tables and chairs here for outdoor dining but it was still too cold at this time of the year.
The living room with a Murphy bed and stone fireplace was set a little farther away so as to insure some privacy for whoever would be occupying this as their bedroom. This also served as the common room for TV viewing and children’s hangout at daytime. They lighted the fireplace at night and roasted Smores. What fun we all had. When everybody else had settled in their bedrooms rooms ( one room had one Queen and the other had 2 Queen beds), the living room was transformed into one big bedroom complete with its own fireplace and TV and became one warm and comfortable place to sleep.
My family enjoyed the use of the Spa room which was set so beautifully amid views of mountains.
Were those elks which we saw around our unit? Can’t believe you can get this close to them.
The general condition of the unit was fresh, clean, tastefully and appropriately decorated as a mountain cottage. Our family felt the ambiance of Rocky Mtns even when we just stayed home.
Cindy worked closely with us in the planning stage of this family vacation/reunion as we made several changes til it was finally decided. Thank you, Cindy.
Pineridge Vacation home at Wildwood Inn is my choice for a vacation place in ESTES Park. Might even book this place for just my husband and myself but since my 2 children and their families had been here, I’m sure they will beg to come along again.
Room was very clean and quiet. We are Colorado residents and it is nice to get away. Rates will be going up for tourist season but we will be back. Thanks
this was our second time at the Wildwood Inn. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Clean room, great hot tub, courteous staff, awesome location.
Beautiful setting, friendly staff, clean room!
Excellent view of the Fall River. Nice room. Clean. Very nice staff. Reasonable rates. Great location-out of town, close to Rocky Mountain National Park. Lots of elk and mule deer right outside our door!
I can’t say enough great things about The Wildwood Inn. My now husband and I purchased an elopement package there and could not have been any happier. We are from Michigan, so planning a wedding from roughly 1300 miles away was a littler nerve racking for me, but Cindy and Julayne were so helpful and made everything so easy. From the second we checked in, everyone was so excited for us and willing to help us with whatever we needed or wanted. Our room was basic, but very cozy! We really didn’t need much more. The view was by far the best out of all the other hotels our families were staying at. The day of our ceremony their on staff hair dresser, Roz, did an amazing job on my hair. On top of that, she came in an hour before they even opened to do my 3 sisters and moms hair as well… talk about great customer service! Our wedding flowers were delivered right to us, and they were so much more than what we expected! I was picturing a bundle of “just picked from the mountain top” flowers, but I was wrong. My bouquet was all white roses, tulips, hydrangeas and baby breath and it was stunning! We had a civil ceremony at The Knoll in downtown Estes, and we loved our officiate. Everything he said was so thoughtful and meaningful to us and our families. After the night was over, my husband and I came back to a delicious wedding cake and a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room… so romantic! All in all, this was a really great experience for us. Cindy, Julayne and everyone at Wildwood were so kind and hospitable, I almost felt a little sad leaving them! Thank you again to everyone who played a part in making our wedding day so memorable for us. We look forward to spending many anniversaries at Wildwood Inn
I cannot thank you enough for this place we call home in Colorado. My husband and children’s father passed away last June and we held his memorial here in Estes all week long. He loved the Homestead Vacation Home when we stayed here 8 years ago and I was so thankful it was available for this vacation.
Its been a hard goodbye, but staying here made it much easier. I cant say enough about your staff or this gorgeous piece of Colorado you let us enjoy while we were here. We hope to return again someday.
Thanks so Much,
JaSi Bartles and Family
Everything was great! We had a wonderful time. the location was perfect for early morning hiking, easy to get to RMNP and still convienient for dining and shopping downtown in the evening. We took full advantage of the hot tub too! We would highly recommend Wildwood Inn
Only complaint would be strange knocking noise throughout the night/early morning.
Overall wonderful accomodations, very conveniently located and very clean.
Wildwood was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed the serene surroundings and everything was so clean and people were very helpful and kind. We enjoyed our stay very much and will recommend this to everyone.
Great stay. Our family enjoyed the Wildwood Inn. Thanks for your hospitality. Five stars.
Cindy, enjoyed our stay very much. Can you see if you have anything available for sept 29th for 4-6 days. You can either reach me via gmail email@example.com or 816-507-5059. Thanks again for your great hospitality. Joe and Sharon Leathers
We would rate your Jewell Studio #35 a 5 out of 5. These things mattered the most to us; room decorations, personal items, kitchen supplies, king sized bed, spa, great view, 11:00 AM checkout time, no housekeeping during our stay, fireplace, CD stereo, cable TV, Estes Park Guide, and the ancient prayer for “The Stranger Within Our Gates”.
We really enjoyed our stay at Wildwood Inn – Estes Park. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the day we made the reservation. This was our first visit to Estes Park and upon arrival to Wildwood Inn, the staff was very helpful with all of our questions. The accommodations were excellent! We were more than satisfied with our room. If we have the opportunity to return to Estes Park we will certainly stay at Wildwood Inn again.
We stayed in the Dear Ridge Suite—very nice, clean, roomy, well-decorated. It was so nice to have the kitchen area as well as the grill, so we could cook for ourselves and not have to dine out so often. It was really like home away from home. For us this was the ultimate way to enjoy the wonderful weather, wildlife, and spectacular scenery!!! We will definitely be returning!
The stay here was absolutely amazing. The staff was friendly and courteous, and never seemed bothered by our endless questions. They struck the perfect balance between being there for our needs and letting us have our time to ourselves. When conditions weren’t 100% perfect to get married on the mountain, they called and suggested other places we might like better. I’m so glad we stumbled across this place; the experience couldn’t have been more perfect. We’ll definitely be back!
Perfect place to relax. Super clean! The owners were very helpful.
The hot tub on the balcony was awesome. We will definitely stay again, our new goto place in Estes.
Take it from an old road warrior…This is a fantastic place!
What a great little retreat! The staff was dry friendly and informative. The rooms were just what we needed. Very quiet area. If you want peace and serenity, book this condo. It is only a mile away from Rocky Mountain National Park entrance, less than 10 min drive to Downtown Estes Park. Fall River is across the road. A bonus is that we saw shooting stars at night and lots of hummingbirds in the day time – wish we stayed longer than 2 nights. Would definitely do this again and again and again
Beautiful room, hot tub, deck overlooking the river, privacy. Thank you for a memorable weekend in Estes Park!
A quite, clean, resort feel…Beautiful views, friendly staff…clean grounds…close to the Rocky Mountain Park…was cool with just ceiling fans and open windows…did not have to ask for anything, just put out a bag for clean towels and the staff would bring them and not disturb you at all..all the comforts of home while away from home…was a wonderful time and very comfortable…the only downside was the internet connection could not connect…had to use the data on the Iphone… but it was still amazing to be that high up and surrounded by the mountains and humming birds…Would suggest you to stay there…
Had a great time and found the cabin to be very comfortable. There were plenty of amenities such as granite counter tops in the kitchen and bath and the bed was very comfortable. I would have liked a little more kitchen counter space, but for an efficiency kitchen, it was workable. The only draw back was that I did not think the recliner and ottoman was very comfortable – an upgrade would be nice.
We had a great stay and would return in the future. Great location!
Great faciilties, friendly folks, great staff, beautiful location, great pre -arrival communication !
Couldn’t ask for a more relaxing and enjoyable place to stay !
Dick & Mary Wilber
Great stay with you. Very comfortable sleeping. Had a great time using your picnic area for our pre-wedding party. Everyone had a really great time.
One thing, we stayed in #22 the screens need to be fixed. All of them. It looks like someone tried to pry open the screens to get into the room (maybe they were locked out) but it made the room insecure at night if the windows were open and any bugs could also get in (mosquitoes)
Otherwise it was a great stay and we will stay there again.
What a great place. Super nice accomodations. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is that the internet service was pretty awful. Way too slow.
We have stayed at Wildwood Inn for many vacations – The accommodations are excellent – we wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Sorry to take so long to get back to you! We had a wonderful stay at Wildwood. Thanks so much. My husband says that when he checked out he forgot to mention to you that the kitchen faucet was dripping pretty badly. Maybe someone has noticed and been able to fix it. Also, one thing that was difficult for us was the Wind Chime hanging from the tree below our cabin. My mom said she had to put a pillow over her head at night to try to block it out. I had ear plugs, but the sound kept my sister awake. Also, we found that during the day it interrupted the sounds of the natural world. It’s certainly up to you whether to keep it or not. We just thought we would give you that feedback. All in all we had a great stay. Thanks again, Katharine G.
I would rate our stay a 5, We stayed in a Deer ridge suite, and found room very comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire place daily. We were able to use the grill to cook dinner on the nights we just wanted to stay in and relax. The fridge was big enough to put groceries in for the week. We made breakfast in the room, and packed picnic lunches to take into the park. The view form our deck made it easy to watch deer, elk, and we even watched a black bear one night. We hope to come back to stay again.
