Estes Park Golf Course is proud to have been recently recognized
as the sixth most beautiful golf course in the United States
by Mitch Kaplan, author of The Golf Book of Lists.

Elk and other wildlife abound at both golf courses so it is not uncommon to share holes with these amazing animals. It is acceptable practice to play through or around the grazing herds that gladly share the greens. Because of the altitude you will find golf in Estes Park enjoyable and at the same time challenging. Do go to the driving range and putting green to gauge the distance of your clubs, as the altitude does make the ball travel more.

A favorite hike in Rocky Mountain National Park near Estes Park

Deer Mountain Trail has an altitude gain of 1,080 feet and has an elevation at the destination of 10,010 feet. During this hike you will experience flowery meadows, pine, aspen and conifer-wooded areas providing shade along the way. The forest opens up in a variety of areas to provide you with picturesque scenery of Longs Peak, Ypsilon, and McGregor Mountain. Wildwood Inn sits on 7 acres at the base of McGregor mountain providing our guests the view of Deer Mountain from across the valley.
